no magic yet

After I had arrived in Kharanos, Maxan welcomed me with an open arm (with the other one he had to hold his pants!) and taught me the ferst lesson of bein’ a good dwarven priest: Always say yes, when yer offered a drink!

so we sat down and I told him about eeev’rything that I had lernt from Aunt Nissa in Ironforge and all about why I wanted to be a priest in the ferst place. Many beers later Maxan had forgotten about all of it but taught me the second lesson of being a good dwarven priest: “When yer too drunk to remember anything, keep drinking until ye pass out!
That’s what Maxan did then. I went along and talked to Innkeeper Belm, who game me me very ferst Hearthstone. Those things are mighty cool, ye know? Back then we could only use ‘em once in a full hour, though. I played with me frog all night because I couldn’t sleep.

In the morning Belm knew nothing of me and I had to re-introduce meself and explain to him that he already had the belt buckles. After that, we began training immediately and Maxan showed me how to use me fists in a real fight. He always said to stay vigilant, because one never knows who might have a disarming spell.
Also he had me do concentration exercises. He said they will help me mushy brain when casting spells in the not so far future.

I was starting to get bored because no one taught me what I was supposed to learn: magic.
Well, now I know why he didn’t teach me earlier but that story will have to wait until next time. Adventure calls.
